Products such as concrete, timber, gyprock, metal and household recyclable items can be diverted from landfill by means of source separation where possible. By recovering materials in this way, we are able to reduce the associated waste disposal cost for our clients while at the same time, comply with the NSW Government’s goal of diverting waste from landfill and supporting the circular economy.

Skip Bin Size Comparisons
Whilst skip bins are measured using cubic metres, we understand this can be hard to visualise, so we have
provided a comparison table that shows cubic metre sizes against the approximate equivalent number of
wheelie bins and 6′ x 4′ box trailers.
Size (Cubic Metres) | Approx. Wheelie Bins | Approx. Trailers (6ft x 4ft) |
---|---|---|
2 | 8 | 3 |
3 | 12 | 4.5 |
4 | 16 | 6 |
6 | 24 | 9 |
8 | 32 | 12 |
